Regulations for paying fees for participation in the IWASOM conference in accordance with the Act on consumer rights of May 30, 2014 (Journal of Laws of June 24, 2014, item 827)

hereinafter referred to as “Seller” is the administrator of the website https://iwasom.ug.edu.pl/ and co-organizer of the IWASOM 2024 conference (The 8th International Workshop on Advanced Spectroscopy and Optical Materials), on July 7-12 at the University of Gdańsk, together with Department of Condensed Phase Spectroscopy of the Institute of Experimental Physics of the University of Gdańsk.
The condition for participation in the above-mentioned conference is the payment of the conference fee. Detailed information on fees, related to participation, is available on the website of the IWASOM conference: https://iwasom.ug.edu.pl/.
II. Payment methods
Conference fees can be made by bank transfer or by bank card.

Online payment by bank card on behalf of the Seller is operated and secured by Autopay. The Seller’s website only receives information about the status of the transaction, but the Seller does not receive information about the card number or the CVV code used to authorize the card.
Order processing time in case of card payment: If the participant chooses the payment method by transfer, electronic payment or payment card – from the date of crediting the Seller’s bank account.

III. Resignation from the service and refund of the fee
Resignation from participation in the conference without paying the fee is possible 30 days before the planned date of the conference. In case of resignation at a later date, a fee will be charged in the amount of:
- 50% of the participation fee in case of resignation from 29 to 15 days before the scheduled date of the conference,
- 100% of the participation fee in case of resignation from the 14th day before the conference starts to the conference start day,
- in exceptional random situations, independent of the participant and unforeseeable at the time of registering for participation and paying the fee for participation in the conference, the Foundation and ZSFS reserve the right to refund the fee in an amount other than the above, after individual consideration of the case,
- in the event of the participant’s death, the payment for participation in the conference will be fully refunded.
The information about the resignation, together with the request for a refund, should be reported by e-mail to the representative of the organizing committee of the given conference.
IV. Final Provisions
By placing an order via the website https://iwasom.ug.edu.pl/, the Buyer declares that she/he has read the Regulations and accepts its terms in full.
